The domain “Your domain” is not in the current list of domains on Terminal Servers Citrix Servers

…Quick Fix…
The above error is something I’ve recently encountered in a PS3 farm running on Windows 2000. First of all after users were complaining about being unable to connect to any applications. It didn’t take long to find out that the applications didn’t have any domain user groups associated with them and it’s when trying to add any of the domain global groups that you get the message “The domain “your domain name” is not in the current list of domains”. Here I show you how to quickly resolve this problem and get your applications and desktops up and running again.
If none of the servers can see domain accounts then instantly you’ve found your problem. The most common causes are as follows:
- Network Issues
- Domain controllers down
- Workstation or server services not running
The problem with this error is it can just be on one server and it affects all the others in that application set. The quickest way to find out which server(s) are causing the problem is to remove all of them via the CMC from the Servers section of the application. Under the Users section add in the domain groups you require, then add in one server at a time. When you get to the problem server it won’t let you add it, you will see the error above.
You can add all the other servers in and then concentrate on why one of the servers can’t see the domain, in my case a simple reboot sorted the issue out.
