This is a handy thing to do for administrators. It means you can create a group and any new support staff that join will automatically have the CMC published on their desktop Here’s how to do just that.

First of all please note that if possible publish the CMC from the Zone Data Collector Citrix server, it performs better from here. First of all ensure that the CMC is installed, if not it can be found on your original Citrix Metaframe CD. Next create a windows group called Citrix Administrators or something similair (you could use the existing domain admins group if you like) and publish the file ctxload.exe which by default can be found here:

C:\Program Files\Citrix\Administration

 Publish from the CMC, right click and select new application, browse to the above file and when prompted add in the above group you have created. Job done.
