I have just found out that people are not allowed to create any training material for Prince2 without a license from APMG . I am in the process of finding out how much it would cost but suspect it won’t be cheap. What a waste of time that was!

The Prince2 Self Study guides I have been working on will be ready by next Monday (25th June). If anyone has take the practitioner exam recently and can remember the type of question they had it would be very helpful and enable me to add to the braindump section. Please email prince2@johnkellett.co.uk if you have the time, thanks.

Self study for the Prince2 exams is alot cheaper than booking an official course. To become a Prince2 Practitioner you must first pass the multiple choice (75 questions) one hour foundation exam, followed by the 3 hour, open book written exam. If you are in the UK, the exams can be taken in either Milton Keynes, Chester or York and booked here. They only seem to do them on a Friday (which is a pain) and they are also not cheap compared with other exams such as ITIL (£100). It costs £190 for the Foundation, £350 for the Practioner or £540 for both (all prices include VAT.) You cannot take the Practitioner exam until you have passed the Foundation.Â
